Eragon
Eragon is a simple farm boy just trying to live his life. Then he finds this strange stone in the middle of a forest while hunting. This strange stone is quite what it looks like. For it is a egg. Months later it hatches and Saphira the dragon is brought to life, The king is looking for her as she was stolen from him. Saphira and Eragon are a threat to him. He will try all in his power to destroy them. The book was better than the film and is one of the better books I have came across.

Great book, the film was barley passable but trueley one of the best books written from this modern eara.
