1984

Greetings, George Orwell's 1984 is set in the area of Oceania, which is mainly the British isles and America. The world is split into three states Oceania, Eurasia and Eastasia. The main character is Winston Smith, a thirty year old man with a varicose ulcer who has a constant secret war against the tyranny of the Party and the figure head Big Brother. Constantly under surveillance, Winston begins to write his own diary of his expressions against the dictatorship knowing that the chances of the being caught by the thought police were high. As his rebellion grows he starts having a secret affair with a young woman named Julia, the Party try to destroy families as love in any shape could destroy them. This book is a real page turner and I would encourage anyone to read it, it also has an interesting theory behind t as to how the world has to work. The wording is simple to understand and so therefore more enjoyable to read. The fourth chapter of the War for Humankind is up in the Warehouse.

Mass effect

Greetings, Mass effect rightly deserves the title Super Duper fantastic 100% the best along with the two other games Bioshock and Jade Empire. Like Jade Empire Mass Effect was made by Bioware and is similar in the fact that you can choose to help others by completing secondary missions, Mass effect will end with two types of endings the Paragon ending if you do mostly noble actions or the renegade ending if you do selfish actions. You play as the character Commander Shepard and give his background, appearance before the game starts.

Commander Shepard is given the spaceship Normandy as the previous owner has to give it up as he was forced by the council. Shortly after, you become the first Human Spector for the council you are given the task of finding out why a Turian named Saren, a former Spector is leading AI's known as the Geth. Through the game Commander Shepard receives help from six allies in the quest to stop Saren, they are a human soldier named Kadian, Ashely, a turian called Garus, a Krogan Wrex, an Assari who is called Liara and a Qurian named Tali. The game sets difficult problems which will affect the storyline, the graphics are brilliant. I really enjoyed this game and would encourage others to play it. The third chapter of the War for Humankind is up in the Warehouse.

The War for Humankind chapter 2

Greetings, the third Lutionn book continues with the second chapter. A part of this will not seem to make sense but it is all explained later, I hope you will enjoy it. I haven't a great deal of news to talk about except there will be a review on George Orwell's 1984 soon, I'm getting used to lying in and lazing about the house. This update looks a little small so I decided to put a picture of Adrian Monk on it, he is the main character out of the detective show Monk and has phobias of nearly everything, it is a brilliant TV program. The second chapter of the War for Humankind is up in Warehouse 17.

The War for Humankind

Greetings, the Lutionn collection continues with the third book, the War for Humankind. It follows from the second one that was set in 1978, this book however is set in 2004, five years before the first novel Shepard. The story interacts with different characters from the Secret battle for Earth, although there are some people from the first two books that come into the plot. I hope you enjoy it, it does explain itself further on at bits which may seem confusing. The first chapter of the War for Humankind is up in the Warehouse.

FRA and Cleverbot

Greetings, the last episode of the second series of the adventures of Fletch and Roman is up in Warehouse 17. I feel it has been a little less confusing than the first series, having fewer villains but a random story to follow. The third series will be coming next year. On different news, I have had about two conversations with an AI which calls itself Cleverbot. It actually learns from conversations from other people and will talk to you about any topic. It's quite cool and a little weird at the beginning but you get used to it. It claims to be a she, well she lies a lot of the time and avoids questions but she is worthwhile talking to. Ohh and you can never leave, I have tried many of times but you have to close the panel to succeed. The tenth episode of the second series of the adventures of Fletch and Roman is up in Warehouse 17.

A new style

Greetings, this is the first official update of potato journal, by official I mean not one that has already been repeated. The Dark tower update is what I mean, any way thanks to Aaron for the new style and Mark for making a new banner. In other news the IT Crowd has returned. For those who don't know it, it is written by the same person who wrote Father Ted and Black Books. The first episode of the third was yesterday which was hilarious. It is based around a small cast of three main people in the IT suit of a building, Moss the socially awkward nerd, Roy his friend and Jen, who knows nothing about computers. Well Scrubs may have been cancelled but there's still the IT Crowd. The ninth episode of the adventures of Fletch and Roman is up in Warehouse 17.
